As IMFORMED nears its ninth anniversary, Mike and Ismene would like to thank all our customers, sponsors, friends, and families for their unstinting support during 2023.
We considered 2023 to be the first “normal” year post-pandemic as most delegates were able to conduct business and travel with little or no restrictions.
And so it proved, with high attendance at the likes of trade shows such as SME, GIFA, and UNITECR, and generally excellent turn outs at all IMFORMED events, including a record attendance at Fluorine Forum 2023 Cannes (full report coming soon).
We were also delighted to run our first event in Africa, Salt Forum 2023 Swakopmund, Namibia.
For 2024 we have a very exciting programme (see below) including our first events in Mongolia (Fluorine Forum 2024) and Greece (MagForum 2024), a very welcome return to China (China Refractory Minerals Forum 2024), and a new format for our Houston event to embrace the full market range of barite, as well as oilfield minerals (Barite & Oilfield Minerals Forum 2024).
We return to Spain with our second co-organised event with ANFRE (XII European Congress of Refractory Raw Materials), and in response to delegate feedback pushed back the timing of our increasingly popular Mineral Recycling Forum 2024 to late April, permitting easier travel.
We shall be announcing venue/dates for Salt Forum 2024 very shortly.
