IMFORMED is delighted to announce
Mineral Recycling Forum 2026
Pullman Cannes Mandelieu, 15-17 April
More than ever, the fast evolving industrial mineral recycling sector has an essential and increasing role to play as mineral consuming markets, and governments, undergo a major rethink on strategic mineral sourcing and evaluate recycled alternatives for a sustainable future in mineral use in the Circular Economy.
In response to feedback we are returning once again to the French Riviera, and to the Pullman Cannes Hotel located in the picturesque town of Mandelieu-La Napoule, just 25min from Nice airport.

As the minerals industry strives towards sustainable development in the 2020s, the recycling of waste products – whether from mine tailings or industrial waste – to generate “Secondary Raw Materials” (SRM) is emerging fast as an important additional source of industrial minerals for a range of consuming markets.
Tomorrow’s “mining” will in large part be efficient and economic utilisation of today’s industrial waste.
-
But how to go about getting involved in this sector?
-
Whether to invest in an in-house business/plant?
-
Partner with an independent recycler?
-
Who’s doing what already & how?
-
And crucially, what impact will it have on customers and markets?

Feedback on Mineral Recycling Forum 2025

Very good presentations, huge variety of businesses, nice hotel and setting, very well organised.
Jaco ter Steege, CEO, Rewaste Minerals BV, Netherlands
What stood out for me? Definitely the quality of discussions and the open, constructive exchange. Events like this bring together the right people, researchers, plant managers, commercial experts, young professionals, and the mix of perspectives really adds value. You can tell when an event is made by people who know the industry from the inside and who care.
Alexander Leitner, Head of Pioneer Research, RHI Magnesita, Austria
The move towards greener industrial minerals is picking up pace – and that shift was front and centre at this year’s Mineral Recycling Forum 2025. One key takeaway stood out: making better, more economical use of industrial waste is becoming essential for a more sustainable future.
Metals Hub GmbH, Germany
Thanks again for this excellent organised conference! See you for sure next year.
Edwin Nijland, Managing Director, Euro-Rijn Deutschland GmbH, Netherlands

Springtime on the French Riviera!
The venue for Mineral Recycling Forum 2026 is the beautiful French Riviera town of Mandelieu-La Napoule, near Cannes, south France (just 25 min from Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport). The Pullman Cannes Mandelieu Royal Casino Hotel is wonderfully located on the beach and within a few minutes walk of the marina, which is surrounded by excellent bars and restaurants, and the picturesque Château de la Napoule. More bars and eateries are just a little further in the nearby town. Cannes is just a 15-20min taxi ride. (More venue details).
